These artworks are part of the Sustain series. To connect the themes in my project to the history of American vegetable gardening, especially the WWII era victory gardens, where Americans grew 60% of their produce during the war, Ivana creates artworks with a vintage aesthetic.  She wants to evoke a sense of nostalgia for a time when more people grew food in the backyard and community gardens.  Ivana innovated a technique using mixed media and digital photography image transfer on aluminum to create these unique artworks in warm tones that recall the historic tintype process.  Subtle inclusions of the contemporary urban environment connect us from our past to our present and the artworks highlight a means to a more sustainable future. Selected images from the Sustain series are available for your collection as mixed media artworks whose appearance is similar to vintage tintypes.  Ivana makes these artworks with acrylic and transfer of archival pigment inks onto aluminum.  Ivana selects only the best archival materials to produce her art. The finished artwork is sprayed with a UV protective spray and coated with acrylic glaze to protect the surface. The artwork may be displayed without glass like an acrylic painting.  The borders are irregular and the surface has a slight texture which is integral to the process.  The watermark is only for internet display and is not on the actual artworks.  The edition of each image is 20 + AP which will be shared among multiple sizes.  The series is still under development and the 8" x 10" is the size currently available.  To follow the creative process , join Ivanas' Art Insiders Community.  The edition is tiered, therefore the lowest edition numbers are offered as an affordable investment.  Those who invest in low edition numbers will save money and the value of the artwork will rise as the edition sells out.  The prints are signed and numbered in marker on the back. Ivana guarantees you will love her artwork and gives collectors a 30 day review period with returns allowed during the 30 days for refund of the artworks value. To qualify for a refund, the art must be be returned in the original condition and in its original packaging and shipped with insurance.  The cost of shipping both directions is not refunded.
